Our Telehealth Services

Telehealth, also known as telemedicine, is a healthcare approach that involves using telecommunications technology, such as video conferencing, phone calls, and online messaging, to provide medical services remotely. It allows clients and healthcare providers to communicate and interact without the need for in-person visits.

Telehealth has gained significant popularity and recognition, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic, as it offers a way to deliver healthcare services while minimizing physical contact and the need for clients to travel to healthcare facilities.

Virtual Mental Health Therapy

Telehealth at Footprints to Recovery encompasses a wide range of services, including diagnosis, consultation, treatment, and monitoring of various physical, mental, emotional, and behavioral health conditions. Much like an in-person meeting, video calls can help someone develop coping strategies and relapse prevention techniques through virtual counseling sessions and support groups. Telehealth can include family members in the treatment process, offering a more comprehensive approach to addressing addiction.

Client-First Approach

We understand that life doesn’t always go according to plan. When you need to speak with the mental health treatment therapists at Footprints to Recovery but aren’t available to visit our facility, our skilled clinicians are happy to conduct virtual telehealth sessions. These sessions follow the same guidelines and practices as an in-person visit with a therapist. That allows our clients to feel comfortable while undergoing a virtual therapy session.
